Patient information

  • 53-year-old male who had a previous bunion surgery developed a painful hallux rigidus on the right foot
  • The patient has metatarsus adductus and a hypermobile first ray

Procedure

  • A Keller bunionectomy with insertion of a hemi implant and first metatarsocuneiform arthrodesis was performed
  • STRAVIX Tissue was applied prior to closure

Results

Patient was in shoes at eight weeks
